Singapore has clarified?its role in restructuring Sri Lanka’s Foreign Ministry following a request put forward by Sri Lanka. Army contingent leaves to join UN Interim Force in Lebanon

The 10th Sri Lanka Army contingent for the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNFIL) left the country today. The Sri Lanka Force Protection Unit (SLFPU) is comprised of 150 army personnel including 10 officers and 140 other ranks. Two attempt self-immolation during demo against Sri Lanka

High drama was witnessed during a protest by Tamil Nadu?fishermen pressing a-three-point-charter of demands against the Sri Lankan Government on Monday at Nungambakkam after two participants attempted self-immolation, the Deccan Chronicle reported.
