UNP proposal given to SLFP

The opposition United National Party (UNP) today handed over its proposals for a new constitution to the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP). Croc attack at Nilwala river

A 43 year old woman was killed today following a crocadile attack along the Nilwala river, Kumburupitiya police said. The woman had gone to have a bath in the river when she was attacked by the crocadile. In September last year a 12 year old child went missing after being dragged away by a crocodile while he was bathing in the Nilwala river.
