Initial step to release land around Presidential Palace in Valikamam begins

The process of identifying lands belonging to the public surrounding the Presidential Palace in Valikamam North has begun.

As the initial step of releasing 62 acres of public lands surrounding the Kankesanthurai Presidential Palace, the process of identifying the lands began with the participation of Governor of Northern Province Dr. Suren Raghavan.

The activities of measuring and dividing the 62 acres of land into four zones and handing over to the public will take place today and on Monday.

The Governor said that those who own their lands within this area can contact the Tellipalai Divisional Secretariat to identify their lands and conduct measurements.
