Controlled prices for 16 essential food items announced

The controlled prices for 16 essential food items were announced by the?Minister of Industry and Commerce Rishad Bathiudeen today.?

The Gazette is expected tomorrow (15 July) but the new prices are effective immediately.

The Items are:

Rapid rise in Covid patients at NHSL
