Four killed, over 20 injured in Kurunegala bus accident

Four people were killed and over 20 others sustained injuries following a bus accident in Kurunegala.

The Police said that a passenger bus suspected to have been speeding crashed into another bus along the Dambulla-Kurunegala road.

One bus had reportedly stopped to pick passengers when the other bus crashed from behind.

Three men and a woman were reported killed in the accident.

Further investigations are underway. (Colombo Gazette)

Core Group confirms Resolution to be submitted on Sri Lanka
