Kohli?s kind gesture at Sri Lanka airport draws massive round of applause

Indian star batsman Virat Kohli has drawn huge applause on social media after he took time to take selfies with fans at the Sri Lanka airport as soon as he arrived in the country.

According to the Indian media, Kohli was swarmed by fans seeking autographs and selfies as soon as he landed.

Despite the long journey, the Indian star graciously accommodated his supporters? requests, earning widespread admiration for his actions, Crictoday reported.

Kohli has an exceptional track record against Sri Lanka, and he will likely be eager to continue his strong performance in the upcoming ODI series.

He trails only Sachin Tendulkar in the list of most runs scored against the Sri Lankan team, having amassed 2,594 runs in 53 ODI matches at an impressive average of 63.26 and a strike rate of 93.91, with 10 centuries and 12 half-centuries.

Three killed after earth mound collapses in Wattegama

Three people have been killed after an earth mound collapsed in the Madawala area in Wattegama today. The Police said that the victims were engaged in some construction work when the incident occurred. Over 160 activists condemn statement against Ambika
