Ranil agrees to nominate Sajith without preconditions

Probe launched on carcasses of three wild elephants

An investigation has been launched into the discovery of the carcasses of three wild elephants in Habarana. Wildlife officers said the three elephants are believed to have died under?suspicious circumstances. The carcasses were found near a tank bund in Hiriwadunna, Habarana and among them was a pregnant elephant.
