Harin approves team led by Charith Asalanka for T20 series against India

Sports Minister Harin Fernando has approved the Sri Lanka cricket squad led by Charith Asalanka selected to face India in the T20 series.

The Sri Lanka Cricket Selection Committee selected a 16-member squad to play in the T20I series during the India Tour of Sri Lanka 2024.

Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Harin Fernando, approved the squad, the Sri Lanka Cricket board said.

The T20I games will be played on the 27th, 28th, and 30th July at the PICS, Pallekele.

Water cut in several areas tomorrow

A water cut has been announced in several areas tomorrow by the National Water Supply and Drainage Board. The National Water Supply and Drainage Board said that a ten hour water cut will be in force from 8am tomorrow in selected areas. Accordingly, the water cut will be in force in Bombuwala, Maggona, Beruwala, Kaluwamodara, Moragalla, Bentota, Darga Town, Aluthgama, Wadduwa, Waskaduwa, Pothupitiya, Morontuduwa, ?Kalutara, Katukurunda, Nagoda, Payagala and Pilaminawatta.
