Namal says confirmed Gota not a US citizen

Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) member, Namal Rajapaksa says it has now been confirmed that SLPP Presidential candidate Gotabaya Rajapaksa is not a US citizen.

Namal Rajapaksa published the Loss of Certificate document confirming that Gotabaya Rajapaksa is not a US citizen anymore.

He said that with the citizenship issue resolved the United National Party can now move on to another mudslinging campaign.

Meanwhile, Rajapaksa’s lawyers today told reporters that documents confirming? Rajapaksa was no more a US citizen had been handed over to the Elections Commission.

President?s Counsel?Ali Sabry said that the US Embassy in Colombo had issued a document confirming that Rajapaksa was now not a US citizen.

Iran confirms death of President and Foreign Minister in helicopter crash
