Anura Kumara Dissanayake holds talks with ITAK in Jaffna

National People’s Power (NPP) Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake held talks with the Illangai Thamil Arasu Katchi (ITAK) in Jaffna.

Dissanayake had talks with ITAK MPs and members, including M.A Sumanthiran and Mavai Senathirajah.

The NPP said the talks focused on the current political developments and economy.

Dissanayake also had talks with religious leaders in Jaffna.

Meanwhile, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa was also in Jaffna and had talks with ITAK members. (Colombo Gazette)

Wele Suda’s sister and two others arrested

The sister of notorious drug dealer Wele Suda and two others have been arrested with a large stock of heroin, the police said. The police said that Dilini Nilmini and the two others were arrested in Rajagiriya while transporting 111 grams of heroin. The police said that the heroin was worth Rs. 1.7 ?million.
