Sri Lanka has rejected claims of a “Chinese take-over” using the Hambantota Port. Namal Kumara ordered to be further remanded

Anti-Corruption Force Operations Director Namal Kumara was today ordered to be further remanded. He had been remanded till today over the violence which erupted following the Easter Sunday attacks. Deadly tsunami remembered in Sri Lanka

The deadly Boxing Day tsunami was remembered in Sri Lanka today with two minutes silence being observed at state institutions and most private establishments around the country.
