Ampara Police Garage OIC arrested over Easter attacks

The Officer -in – Charge (OIC) of the Ampara Police Garage has been arrested. The officer, who is a Chief Inspector, was arrested by officials from the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) today. Pope appoints new Auxiliary Bishop in Sri Lanka

Pope Francis on Monday appointed a new Auxiliary Bishop in the Archdiocese of Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka. Father Anton Ranjith Pillainayagam, a priest of the archdiocese, is the third auxiliary bishop of the metropolitan archdiocese.
