Litro increases domestic gas prices

Litro Gas has increased the price of domestic gas owing to an increase in world prices.

The company said that an increase in the demand for gas in the global market during the season and the Ukraine war has resulted in an increase in global gas prices.

As a result, Litro Gas said that it has decided to bear most of the costs and increase prices without placing a burden on the consumer.

Accordingly, a 12.5kg gas cylinder has been increased by Rs.250 with the new price now Rs. 4,610, a 5kg cylinder has been increased by Rs. 100 and the new price is Rs. 1,850 and a 2.3kg cylinder has been increased by Rs. 45 as a result of which the new price is Rs. 860. (Colombo Gazette)

Lalkantha arrested over accident after drunk driving
