President and TNA discuss key issues

President Maithripala Sirisena and the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) met today and had talks on key issues. Speaker to review process to supply food to Parliament

Speaker Karu Jayasuriya has decided to review the process to supply food to Parliament, the Speaker’s office said today. This follows concerns raised by President Maithripala Sirisena on food supplied to Parliament going to waste. The Speaker’s office said that a strict process is followed when providing food in Parliament. However it was decided to review the process following the concerns raised by the President.
