Ranil says he has no home to go to

President Ranil Wickremesinghe says there is no point in demanding that he “goes home” as he has no home to go to.
Speaking in Kandy today, the President said that some people gave threatened to stage protests demanding that he goes home.
“I am appealing to you not to do that as I have no home to go to,” he said.
He said that, instead the protesters should try rebuild his burnt house.
Protesters had set fire to his private residence located at Flower Road on 9th July.
Wickremesinghe said that after his house is rebuilt then the protesters can demand that he goes home.
“No point telling a man who has no home, to go home,” he said.
The President said that demanding him to go home is just a waste of time.
He said that the protesters must either rebuild the country or rebuild his house. (Colombo Gazette)
