Sajith holds talks with Galle Face protesters

Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa held talks with the protesters from Galle Face today.
The Opposition Leader’s Office said that a special meeting took place between the groups representing the ‘Aragalaya’ and the Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa this morning (18) at the Office of the Leader of the Opposition in Colombo.
The new President will be elected this week and the groups representing the ‘Aralagaya’ informed their position to the Leader of the Opposition, the Opposition Leader’s Office said.
The Leader of the Opposition stated that he or his party or his coalition has never betrayed demands of the ‘Aragalaya’ and pledged that it will remain unchanged in the future as well.
The representatives from the Galle Face protest site have also had talks with presidential candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake. (Colombo Gazette)
