Former Maldives President?Mohamed Nasheed has decided not to contest the Presidential elections in September. Price of 12.5 Kg LPG domestic gas reduced by Rs 138

The price of a 12.5 Kg LPG domestic gas cylinder has been reduced by Rs 138 from Rs 1676.00 to Rs 1538.00. The Consumer Affairs Authority has sent the determination letters to the companies concerned, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce said. Five killed in ‘targeted’ attack on US newspaper in Maryland

A gunman has opened fire at a local newspaper office in Maryland, killing five people and injuring others in what police said was a “targeted attack”. Staff at the Capital Gazette in Annapolis said the attacker, armed with a shotgun and smoke grenades, shot through a glass door into the newsroom.
