SJB hands over no-confidence motions against GR, MR

The main opposition Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) today handed over no-confidence motions against President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and the Government led by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.

The two motions were handed over to Parliament Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena today.

It was still not clear how many MPs had signed the motions against the President and the Government.

The two motions are to be tabled in Parliament tomorrow (Wednesday). (Colombo Gazette)
