Passenger arrested with 124 tortoises

A passenger was arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport with 124 tortoises in his possession. The Customs Department said that the tortoises were concealed in the baggage of the passenger. The passenger is a Sri Lankan and a resident of Negombo, a Customs Department spokesman said. He was about to leave for Malaysia with the?tortoises in his baggage this morning when he was arrested.
