Man shot dead in Kotahena

A man was shot dead in Kotahena in the Foreshore Police area last night. The Police said that the 51-year-old man was killed along Vivekananda Road. According to the Police, two gunmen had arrived on a motorcycle and carried out the shooting. The victim, a resident of Vivekananda Road in Kotahena, was reported dead on admission to hospital. The Foreshore Police are conducting further investigations. (Colombo Gazette)
