Ninth death from coronavirus reported in Sri Lanka

The ninth death from the coronavirus has been reported in Sri Lanka, the Ministry of Health said.

The victim is a resident of Colombo and was receiving treatment at the National Institute of Infectious Diseases (IDH) hospital in Angoda.

The Ministry of Health said that the victim is a 52 year old woman, a resident of Colombo 15.

Yesterday (Monday), a 72 year-old woman had died of the virus.

The victim is a resident of Kurunegala and was receiving treatment at the Homagama Hospital. (Colombo Gazette)
