Police received 2033 complaints of sexual abuse last year

The police received 2033 complaints of sexual abuse last year, the Ministry of Law and Order said. Law and Order Minister Sagala Ratnayaka said that in 2013 there were 2175 incident of sexual abuse reported to the police while in 2014 the number of complaints received was 2008.
