SLFP to take action on members who joined SLPP

The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) has decided to take disciplinary action against SLFP members who joined the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP).

SLFP Spokesman Weerakumara Dissanayake said that disciplinary action will be taken against SLFP members S. B. Dissanayake and MP Dilan Perera as well as several other SLFP members who joined the SLPP today.

Weerakumara Dissanayake said that disciplinary action will be taken against them for obtaining membership in another political party.

He said that the SLFP will take note that the SLFP members who joined the SLPP had left the SLFP.

Finance Ministry insists no approval for flour price hike
