Quarantine curfew extended till 1st October

The quarantine curfew has been extended till 1st October, the President’s Office said. The President’s Office said the curfew has been extended till 4am on 1st October. The decision to extend the curfew was taken at the Covid Task Force meeting held today chaired by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa. Over 10 million vaccinated with both doses in Sri Lanka

Over 10 million people have been vaccinated with both doses of the coronavirus vaccine in Sri Lanka. The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said that 10,211,537 people have got both jabs as of today. According to the Epidemiology Unit 1,426,469 people have got the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine and 889,110 the second dose.
