Commission on Matale grave

President Mahinda Rajapaksa today announced the appointment of a special commission to investigate the Matale mass grave. President?s secretary Lalith Weeratunga said that the commission will be led by former Justice S.I. Imam, Retired High Court Judge Bandula Atapattu and former Secretary General of Parliament Dhammika Kitulgoda. Croc attack at Nilwala river

A 43 year old woman was killed today following a crocadile attack along the Nilwala river, Kumburupitiya police said. The woman had gone to have a bath in the river when she was attacked by the crocadile. In September last year a 12 year old child went missing after being dragged away by a crocodile while he was bathing in the Nilwala river.
