Police arrest 34 boys for damaging property at girl’s school

The Police have arrested 34 boys for damaging property at a girl’s school in Colombo.

The boys had forced their way into the school while parading the streets as part of the school ‘Big Match’ cricket season.

The Police said that the boys had damaged school property and fled when the Police had arrived.

A complaint had been made by girl’s school resulting in the Police arresting the boys.

They were to handed over to their parents after recording statements. (Colombo Gazette)
