Ambassador Jayatilleka meets US Ambassador to Russia

The Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Russian Federation Dayan Jayatilleka paid a courtesy call on his American counterpart, Jon M. Huntsman, Jr., in Russia today.

Huntsman is a prominent politician, diplomat and businessman, whose record of service includes terms as U.S. Ambassador to China and to Singapore, before he assumed his duties as Head of Mission in Moscow.

The Ambassadors had a long and substantive discussion on Sri Lanka as well as current global developments involving US ? China ? Russia ? India ? Latin America. (Colombo Gazette)

Iran rolls back on its nuclear deal commitments

Alleged phone recordings between Ranjan and ex-CID officers leaked

A number of alleged telephone recordings between former Minister Ranjan Ramanayake and former officers of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) have been leaked to the media. The telephone recordings had reportedly been found in CDs and DVDs seized by the Police from Ramanayake’s house over the weekend.
