Qatar temporarily suspends entry for travellers from Sri Lanka

Qatar?s Government Communications Office said that in addition to Qatar Airways’ announcement regarding flights to and from Italy, entry to Qatar is temporarily suspended for all those intending to travel from certain countries, as of March 9, 2020, including Sri Lanka. Six killed in Lunugamwehehara road accident

Six people were killed in a road accident in Lunugamwehehara this morning, the Police said. The Police said that the van in which the victims were travelling in had veered off the road and hit a tree. Three others in the van sustained injuries and were admitted to hospital. (Colombo Gazette)
