Government school teachers, principals to launch union action

Government school teachers and principals have decided to launch trade union action tomorrow.

Trade unions representing the school teachers, principals and administration officers said they will launch trade union action against the appointments given in the state education sector to alleged victims of political revenge.

As a result the unions said that the school teachers, principals and administration officers who go on sick leave tomorrow.A

protest march is also expected to be staged opposite the Education Ministry. (Colombo Gazette)
