Sub Inspector arrested over missing businessmen

A?Sub Inspector has been arrested over the disappearance of two businessmen?in Rathgama. The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) arrested the?Sub Inspector who is attached to the?Southern Crimes Investigations Unit. The two businessmen,?Manjula Asela and Rasheen Chinthaka, had been reported missing since January 23 this year. The CID had this week also arrested IP Kapila Nishantha of the Special Investigations Unit of the Southern Province over the incident. (Colombo Gazette)

Probe reveals two Rathgama businessmen were killed and burnt

Investigations have revealed that the two businessmen in Rathgama who were reported missing, had been killed and the bodies were later burnt.
