Stay order preventing FCID from taking action on Gota extended

A stay order preventing the Police Financial Crimes Investigations Division (FCID) from taking action on former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa, was extended today till March 23. PM appoints committee to expedite action on fraud and corruption

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has appointed a special committee to expedite action on fraud and corruption. The committee will include Ministers Dr. Rajitha Senaratne, D.M Swaminathan and Ajith Perera.
