A man was shot dead in Panadura today, the Police said. The shooting took place in the Pinwatta area in Panadura. The Police said that the victim was travelling in a car when he was shot dead. (Colombo Gazette)

SLPP denies claims MR is to be appointed PM

The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) has denied claims that former President Mahinda Rajapaksa is to be appointed as Prime Minister.
