Mano threatens to take legal action against cafe`

Minister of National Integration, Official Languages, Social Progress and Hindu Religious Affairs Mano Ganesan has threatened to take legal action against a popular cafe`over a notice issues to its staff. Over 100 SPs including Police Spokesman promoted

Over 100 Superintendents of Police (SP) have been promoted to the rank of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), the Police media unit said. Among those promoted is Police Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekera. The Police media unit said that 102 Superintendents of Police have been promoted with the approval of the Police Commission. The Police said that the consent of the Elections Commission has also been obtained for the promotion.
