Iranian arrested and grilled by CID over forged passport

An?Iranian has been arrested by Immigration officials at the Katunayake Airport and is being questioned by the Police Criminal Investigations Department (CID). The Iranian was arrested after a forged passport was found in his possession. Initial investigations revealed the?Iranian was to travel to a European country via Sri Lanka using the forged passport . Separate bus lane to be implemented around the island

The separate bus lane, which was launched from Moratuwa to Colombo today, will be implemented around the island in stages. Minister of Megapolis Patali Champika Ranawaka said the separate bus lane will help reduce the traffic congestion in Colombo and the surrounding areas. He said that initially there may be some shortcomings as everyone looks to get used to the new system. Army Commander holds talks with Commander of the Navy
