Dayasiri caught making fun at Sajith over his speech

Sport Minister, Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) member and former United National Party (UNP) member Dayasiri Jayasekera was caught making fun at Minister Sajith Premadasa during a media conference.
At the SLFP media conference,?Jayasekera is heard telling Ministers Mahinda Amaraweera and Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena that he had a good chat with?Premadasa over his May Day speech.
Jayasekera, not knowing what he was saying was being recorded, said that when he met?Premadasa he commended him about his speech and added that he should have made the same speech two years ago.
The Sports Minister said that Premadasa had, in his speech, spoken highly of UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe.
Jayasekera said he told?Premadasa if he had made a similar speech a few years ago he (Jayasekera) would not have left the UNP.
“His face turned red,”Jayasekera said of?Premadasa’s reaction.
Premadasa had in the past been very critical of?Wickremesinghe’s party leadership and had even pushed for his removal. (Colombo Gazette)
