President deploys tri-forces to assist drought affected families

President Maithripala Sirisena has deployed the tri-forces to assist drought affected families in the country.

The President said that the military will be deployed to every district to assist the officials in the area.

He said that drinking water will be distributed to the families affected by the severe drought, while other forms of assistance will also be made available.

Bowling action of Akila Dananjaya found to be illegal
