Ban calls for political solution

UN Secretary General Ban ki-Moon has called for a political solution to the underlying factors of Sri Lanka?s past conflict. LIOC ups price of diesel

Lanka Indian Oil (LIOC) announced a Rs. 4 increase in the price of diesel with effect from midnight tonight. Accordingly the price of a liter of diesel will be Rs 121 from tomorrow. LIOC had increased the price of super diesel by Rs. 2 in May this year.
