Electricity supply disrupted in several areas due to heavy rains

The electricity supply has been disrupted in several areas due to heavy rains. The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) said that the electricity has been disrupted for over 45,000 consumers. According to the CEB, the electricity supply has mainly been disrupted in Galle, Hambantota, Kalutara and Ratnapura. Parts of Sri Lanka has been experiencing heavy rain since yesterday as a result of a deep depression in the Bay of Bengal. (Colombo Gazette)
