Ranil wants winning formula from UNP Presidential candidate

United National Party (UNP) leader, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe says he has asked for a winning formula to be presented by anyone wanting to be nominated as the UNP Presidential candidate. Lotus Tower opening marred by claims of major scam in 2012

The opening of the Colombo Lotus Tower was marred by claims of a major scam linked to the deal in 2012. Raids carried out on several restaurants in Thenmarachchi

Chavakachcheri Public Health Inspectors conducted sudden inspection visits on 14 restaurants in the Thenmaradchi Divisional Secretariat today. The raids were carried out on the instructions of the Governor of the Northern Province, Dr. Suren Raghavan. Restaurants located in Chavakachcheri, Kodikamam and Mirusuvil in the Thenmarachchi Divisional Secretariat were inspected.
