Three Lankans killed in Korea

Nine people were killed, including three migrant workers from Sri Lanka, and 25 others injured when a fire raged through a karaoke facility in Busan, South Korea, police said Sunday. Over 100 porn CDs seized

The police have raided a video center at Ingiriya at seized over 100 Compact Discs (CD) with pornographic material. Following the raid carried out yesterday two suspects including a man operating the video center was arrested, the police media unit said today. EU wants fair trial for detainees

The European Union (EU) on Sunday called for a fair trial for long term detainees in Sri Lanka.
