Kotahena shooting claims a second victim

The Kotahena shooting incident claimed the life of a second person this morning, a 36 year old resident of Grandpass.

According to the police, the victim, identified as B.N. Sampath, had succumbed to his injuries in hospital this morning.

He was receiving treatment at the Colombo National hospital and was in serious condition.

One person injured in Kotahena shooting incident

One person sustained injuries in a shooting incident in Kotahena today. The Police said that the shooting incident took place near the Maliban Junction in Jinthupitiya. The gunmen had arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire injuring a 34 year old man. The injured person was admitted to hospital. (Colombo Gazette)
