Ravi to announce accepted amendments

Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake will announce in Parliament on Saturday the amendments to the 2016 budget accepted by the Government. Wigneswaran against proposed ?Grama Rajya?

Tenth suspect arrested in Vithya murder remanded

A?tenth suspect arrested over the murder of schoolgirl Sivaloganathan Vithya in Jaffna, was produced in court today and ordered to be remanded. Vithya was abducted and was believed to have been gang-raped before she was killed. Earlier nine suspects had been arrested over the incident.
