Former DIG Vass Gunawardena granted bail

Former DIG Vass Gunawardena and four others, who were in remand over a murder case, were granted?bail by the Colombo High Court today.

Gunwardena was in remand?in connection with the abduction and murder of millionaire businessman Mohammed Shiyam.

Gunawardena will however remain in remand in connection to another case. (Colombo Gazette)
