The Trincomalee oil farm agreement was tabled in Parliament by Minister of Energy Udaya Gammanpila today. Government defends proposed amendments to PTA

The Government has defended the proposed amendments to the present Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA) saying it is a progressive step towards securing, advancing and protecting fundamental rights guaranteed under the Constitution. Cabinet approves unique digital ID project

Cabinet has approved a unique digital ID project which is to be implemented with a grant received from the Indian Government.
