Police claim hidden hand behind Mahara Prison riot identified

The Police today claimed that the hidden hand behind the Mahara Prison riot has been identified. Police Spokesman, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Ajith Rohana said that investigators have identified those believed to have instigated the prison riot. Loans offered to all families at low interest for festive season

Loans have been made available to all families at a low interest rate for the festive season, the President’s Office said. The loans will be offered by State banks in three categories based on the monthly income.
