Singer Priyani Jayasinghe ‘hacked to death with scissors’ in her home

Singer Priyani Jayasinghe has been found dead at her home in Panadura. A police spokesperson said that the singer was found stabbed to death. The murder is believed to have been committed using a pair of scissors. The singer’s husband is being sought by Police in connection with the incident. Body of a male with stab injuries found in Kiribathgoda

The body of a male with stab injuries was found in Kiribathgoda today. The Police said that the body was found inside a three-wheeler in?Nahena in Kiribathgoda. According to reports the man had been killed inside his house and the body was later dumped inside a three-wheeler. The victim had been identified as Dhanushka Tharanga Gunaratne (40).
