Former UPFA MP Lakshman Perera arrested

Soldier commits suicide at Veyangoda camp

A soldier committed suicide at an army camp in Veyangoda this afternoon, the police media unit said. The police said that the soldier had shot himself inside his guard post. The cause for the suicide was still not known.
