Uber Eats has announced the expansion of its delivery service to Badulla, Bandarawela and Ella, adding three destinations in Sri Lanka’s Uva region to its network.
The company said the expansion follows launches in Nuwara Eliya and Ratnapura earlier in 2026.
Customers in the new service areas can use the Uber Eats application to browse participating businesses and place orders. The available merchants, products and delivery options depend on the address entered in the application.
The expansion creates an additional ordering channel for restaurants and other participating businesses in the three towns. It also extends the platform’s presence further into Sri Lanka’s hill country.
Ella attracts visitors travelling through the region, while Badulla and Bandarawela serve surrounding residential and commercial communities. The new coverage is intended to reach both residents and visitors.
Customers can check availability through the application, where participating outlets, operating hours and order charges are displayed. Delivery distances and waiting times may vary between locations and individual orders.
The launches broaden Uber Eats’ network beyond Sri Lanka’s largest urban centres and follow its earlier expansion into Nuwara Eliya and Ratnapura.
