Blink International has acquired Wristlab, bringing together two complementary strengths in Sri Lanka’s watch retail sector as part of a long-term strategy to strengthen the multi-brand retail experience.

Founded in 2019 under Orbit Worldwide (Pvt) Ltd, Wristlab was established to address the gap for a one-stop destination where consumers could access leading international watch brands without having to visit multiple single-brand stores. Following the acquisition, Wristlab will become Blink’s dedicated consumer-facing retail platform, with plans to develop a broader international brand portfolio, enhance the in-store experience and strengthen its service offering.

The move will also allow Blink International to sharpen its role as the official brand principal for CASIO, G-SHOCK and EDIFICE in Sri Lanka. The company will place greater focus on brand building and management, distribution, authorised retail expansion and after-sales support, while Wristlab develops its position as a comprehensive multi-brand watch destination.

“This is a strategic step toward building a scalable multi-brand retail platform in Sri Lanka,” said Mohamed Mansoor, Director, Blink International. “Blink will focus on brand building, distribution, and after-sales capabilities, while Wristlab evolves into the one-stop go-to destination for authentic timepieces.”

Founded in 2014 under Avarna Ventures, Blink operates an extensive distribution network covering more than 155 authorised doors across Sri Lanka. Its operations are supported by after-sales infrastructure and access to genuine parts, providing an established foundation for the expanded retail strategy.

The acquisition creates a clearer division of focus between the two businesses. Wristlab will concentrate on developing the consumer retail experience and expanding multi-brand choice, while Blink continues strengthening its position as a specialist watch distribution partner. Together, the businesses aim to create greater opportunities for international watch brands while giving Sri Lankan consumers wider access to authentic timepieces and a more comprehensive retail experience.
