Curfew to continue indefinitely in Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara

The Police curfew will continue indefinitely in the Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara districts, the President’s Media Division said. The President’s Office said that the Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara districts have been identified as high risk areas for the coronavirus. Coronavirus infected patients in Sri Lanka increases to 95

The number of patients infected with the coronavirus in Sri Lanka has risen to 95. The Health Ministry said that there were 10 new cases reported today (Monday). It said that 227 patients are under observation in hospitals across the country on suspicion of having contracted the virus. Curfew in Colombo to be reimposed at 2 pm

The curfew which was lifted in the Colombo, Gampaha and Puttalam districts and the Northern Province at 6am today, will be reimposed at 2pm today. The curfew was to be reimposed at 12 noon today but the President’s Media Division said the curfew will now be reimposed at 2pm. The curfew has been imposed to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
